Pink and Green Thursday: Ladurée

Spreading some great pink and green news. I read in the August issue of Vogue that Parisian patisserie Ladurée will be opening on Manhattan's Upper East side at 864 Madison Avenue in September. This will be the first location in the United States. I've never been and can't wait to try the original double-decker macaroon!

Blair Waldorf, rejoice! My favorite Gossip Girl can now find her beloved treat in her neighborhood. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to bump in her. (And by that I mean stalk a taping. Too bad there is that thing called work during the week preventing me from such activities.)

Macaroons, anyone? Visit Pink and Green hostess Trishy at Pink Preppy Lilly Lover for more of the color combo. Cheers!

What I'm Loving...

I'm loving that we are traveling back to the Vineyard for a 3-day weekend with friends. Is it Friday yet?

Love this card from Papyrus floating around tumblr. Inside reads: "It's your day- you deserve to splurge Happy Birthday"

Mean Girls is one of my favorite movies ever. This has to be the best math book example ever. I love Regina George, why isn't she in the picture?! (It's Wednesday, are you wearing pink?)

I'm loving these silly pictures from dinner with Ted last weekend at Club A Steakhouse. How about that leopard pillow? We had the romantic corner table. "Will you accept this rose?"

Unlocked - Go Giants!

Yay! Although the NFL lockout was lifted yesterday, we all knew it was coming when Victoria's Secret previewed the 2011 PINK NFL Colllection last week. They must have gotten the official word early. This year all 32 teams will be represented, so no team will be left out. View the line-up at Blitz and Glam. I love the "Tailgate with Me" v-neck tees.

Wanna celebrate? How about a fruit salad in a watermelon helmet? Fits right into your summer cookout. I generally don't handle anything larger than a steak knife (I'm clumsy in the kitchen) so sadly don't think I could execute this.

NFL fans, which team will you be cheering for?

To Do: Order new planner!

How do you keep track of your schedule and to-dos?  I first read about myAgenda on Monograms and Martinis 2 years ago and think it is the ideal daily planner post academia. A little pricey, but myAgenda will hold up and display well alongside other books on your shelf. Since I've graduated I often reference planners of years past for event and vacation dates and these store nicely. I'll be ordering the pink - personalized!

The week-at-view includes extra spaces for you categorize and fill in that I find especially useful. I prefer the mini size (5" x 7") so i can throw it in my tote to bring to work. If you're a mommy, you must check out the original momAgenda that started it all. (Note: Be sure not to confuse the "my" and "mom" versions when ordering online.)

Those of you heading back to school in the fall, the large Lilly Pulitzer agenda looks to be perfect! Lots of room for all those assignments and social activities.

Top priorities on the agenda today? Cardio to work off NYC Restaurant Week indulgences and Bachelorette. Who will get the final rose?! (Time to see if the spoilers were correct.)

Update: I spoke too soon, it's not the Bachelorette finale this week. The Facebook fan page threw me off. Sorry if I got you too excited. How could I have forgotten about "The Men Tell All" episode? :) Also, you can enter to win a myAgenda from BORED Mommy until 7/31. Click here!

Friday's Fancies

"Friday's Fancies" Polyvore
Happy Friday! I've linked up with {av} of Long Distance Loving for Friday's Fancies with my dream "LWD" outfit. J. Crew, Jimmy Choo, Cartier and that hot pink straw Kate Spade bag... what's not to like? I'll be in the city this weekend and would love to wear this out to dinner. The only drawback, I always manage to spill on myself when I'm wearing white. No red wine!

With Hello Kitty in our little white dresses... we could both use some colorful accessories. Click below for more looks and choose your favorite. Enjoy the weekend!

Pink and Green Thursday: Silly Old Bear

Today's Pink and Green Thursday was inspired by Zooey Dechanel at the premiere of Winnie the Pooh wearing this pretty pink and green Floral Wynne Dress by Kate Spade. I smile every time I see the movie promo on television, Pooh and friends hold a place in my heart!

What I'm Loving...

Love my new twist necklace from Silk Road Pearls. (You may remember I posted about SRP back in February. My collection is growing.) I'm loving that SRP founder Sara and I have a giveaway in the works! Stay tuned :)

Time to spruce up my cubicle. I love these folders from Christmas Tree Shop that were only $1.99 for 12. Part of their Vera Bradley knock off line... I won't carry a fake bag but folders I will make an exception.

California Roll In a Bowl - why haven't I thought of this?! Love this recipe from ValSoCal. You must visit her fabulous blog for more amazing ideas and inspiration.

Finally...I would love to have a Bestoke Map Heart of Connecticut, New York City and Martha's Vineyard. Find some vintage maps and this would be a great DIY project. What places would you feature? (Found via Pinterest, which I'm also loving!)

Portobello Road

Here's a glimpse inside one of my favorite shops on the Vineyard, Portobello Road. I could spend hours among the books, gifts and home decor. There's something new to discover around every corner!

Fashion Fridays: Tortoise

"Like a great pair of glasses, the Totoise Shell Collection is about standout eyes." - Bobbi Brown

I need to get my hands on this new palette in Sand! Bobbi Brown eye shadows run $20 individually, so this a great value and way to try out new shades. And hello, what a great case.

If you are looking for tortoise shades Ray Ban has a great selection. After seeing a bunch of celebs wearing the Cats 5000 last year I had to have them. So versatile!

A couple of tortoise pieces that I would love to have in my wardrobe. Do you have any tortoise favorites? Be sure to visit Kori at Blonde Episodes for more Fashion Fridays!

Nice Stems

Everytime I visit my hair salon I come home with a new polish - they always get me at the counter! I was immediately drawn to this cute display for OPI's Nice Stems collection.

I have been wearing I Lily Love You layered over Come To Poppy on my toesies. Visit Never Enough Nails to see the whole collection. I'll spare you the image of my feet but will say sparkling toes in the summer are so fun, especially at the beach!
