Yours truly along with Ted might be in the background of a scene later in the season... hopefully it made the final cut. Regardless, I've been excited about the show and can't wait to watch. Based on the trailer it looks like it may fill The Hills void in my life... I thought that was Justin Bobby in the bottom left corner for a second.

Aviators are a summertime staple (along with Jacks and D&D iced coffee). I was really excited to learn about Warby Parker's newly released Meridian Collection. I am familiar with their nerdy-chic optical frames and didn't realize they made sunglasses as well. Their sunglasses start at $95 - free shipping and free returns.I love that their sunglasses are polarized at no additional cost. For every pair sold, an optical pair is distributed to someone in need.

My Bridal Shower

Hello, hello! Remember me? I'm still here... lots to catch up on!

Last month my future mother-in-law hosted my bridal shower at her lovely home on the Cape with help from my maid of honor Sara and bridesmaid Kate. It was a special day among family and friends. I feel very blessed!

Sadly Sara was sick and couldn't make the trip. I know all the hard work she put into the shower along with Ted's mom and Kate and was so sad she couldn't be there. I can't thank them enough.

The girls put together this amazing mimosa bar. The Santa Cruz Organic juice and Cupcake Prosecco was delicious!

My mom gave me these Waterford Happy Celebrations Toasting Flutes. I can't wait to use them!

My Juliska collection is growing! One of the stunning pieces Ted's mom gave me.

The centerpiece was from Donaroma's in Edgartown.

Sara and Kate chose Lilly Pulitzer koozies as favors and of course they were a hit.

Cape Cod Bracelet

Eden Cape Cod Screwball bracelet, David Yurman

During my last trip to the Cape I was on a mission to get my friend an authentic Eden Cape Cod Screwball bracelet (also known as the Cape Cod bracelet and Dennis bracelet). I figured I should get myself one while I was there!

The bracelets are hand made and sold at a small jewelry shop in Dennis called Eden and not available online. My friend Kate has worn one for years so she gave me the scoop on the store policies and buying procedure. She told me to expect two lines - one for browsing in the front of the store and the other along the side if you know what you want. I arrived shortly after the store opened in the morning and there was already this long line so went to the fast lane. 

During the peak Cape season (end of June, July, August) you must request a ticket online for entry. If you plan to visit, be sure to check out their website for all of the information. Unfortunately there isn't a gallery to view the different styles but you can find the variations with some Googling.

Thankfully one of my friends that accompanied me had her checkbook because they only accept cash or check!

Anyone else been to Eden? I haven't taken my bracelet off since my visit over Memorial Day weekend!
