Mom Stole My Look

Madewell 9" High-Rise Skinny Jeans $135
(Old Navy similar style jeans for a portion of the price - I have and love these!)
Joie Macrina Sweatshirt $128 (also available here, here, here)

This Joie sweatshirt reminds me of something I would dress Chase up in! I'm always coordinating with at least one of kids, ha.

I've been using this MZ Wallace bag as my everyday work tote in the winter for 4 years... it's held up really well and such a great bag for this time of year in New England. You don't have to worry about it getting ruined in the rain or snow. On the weekend I swap out my laptop for Chase's diaper clutch. It's made frequent appearances on this blog...a year after year favorite. Splurge vs. Steal Alert - Oliver Thomas makes a similar bag at a lower price point. I have one in yellow that I will put back into rotation this spring. If you are local, you can see the collection in person at Kirby & Company in Darien.

My Vince sneakers were a splurge but worth it. They are so comfortable!

As I'm throwing this post together I remembered seeing this affordable alternative varsity look... it also comes in white. Another steal worth mentioning!

Here are a few of the navy, white and gray items I either have already for Chase or are in my cart. I love Gap Kids!

Hope you're having a great week!

Drugstore Beauty Favorites

I'm not the product junkie I used to be but every now and then I like to try something new that doesn't break the bank. Here is a roundup of my favorite drugstore beauty staples and a few more recent finds!

---

Sonia Kashuk Weekender Makeup Bag $19.99
I have a similar sized bag from the Lilly Pulitzer x Target collab that I always keep ready for a trip or emergency with my shower, skincare and hair products. Each time I return from a trip, I repack it and leave a note listing anything I need to replace or add so I don't forget the next time I travel.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer $6.29
This concealer has been a favorite of mine for years! I keep going back to it.

L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation $7.69
Not my everyday foundation but when I'm in a pinch this does the trick. I have tried both the matte and glow - prefer this version that has a dewy look and provides full coverage.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes $4.49
I have tried several wipes and these continue to be my favorite because they are effective but gentle. I always initially take my makeup off with these and then follow up with cleanser, serum, moisturizer. etc.

EOS Shaving Cream $4.49
I'm done with shaving cream in a can. I hate not knowing how much is left! Problem solved.

Dove Exfoliating Body Polish $5.99
I was tipped off to this one on Allure's Best of Beauty Awards: The 28 Best Beauty Steals of 2018.

Colgate Optic White $3.97
My current favorite whitening toothpaste.

Arm & Hammer Essentials Fresh Deodorant $3.49
Thanks to a friend of mine for sweating through the test for the best safe deodorant. This aluminum and paraben free stick is a value.

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Repairing Hair Care Collection
I spend a small fortune on shampoo and conditioner and needed something affordable to put into rotation. I color my hair and use too much heat so need something hydrating.

Batiste Blush Floral & Flirty Dry Shampoo $7.99
Another rec for blondes... it goes on very white so I don't think this would be a great choice if you have darker hair. They do make tinted versions for other hair colors.

What are your favorite drugstore products?
