Spin Odyssey 2014

Yesterday I participated in my first spin-a-thon, Spin Odyssey, with exhale Stamford at Fairway Market to raise money for breast cancer research and awareness. I cycled for 2 hours with awesome instructors, music and energy that made the time fly by. I wish I had signed up for another hour. $200,000 and counting was raised!

I started spinning last June when I joined a gym that offers a variety of classes including barre, yoga and spin. Spin was new to me and quickly became my favorite workout.

If you have never tried spin, here are a few articles with tips:

The event helped me stay on track with classes over the winter when I really wanted to sleep in or watch more Bravo. Most importantly, I was inspired to be riding for a great cause!

OP at Piperlime

via People

Olivia Palermo... my style icon. I love browsing her edit for Piperlime. Here are a few of my current favorites.

Trina Turk Leah Dress $268
(also available at Lord & Taylor - use code SHOP for 20% off through 4/1)

I want this in my closet... stat! I would wear a cardigan or blazer for work with ballet flats and alone with heels for going out. It can also be transitioned for other seasons with black tights.

AG Adriano Goldschmied Thee Legging Ankle $210 (available here in more sizes)

I love AG jeans. OP is seen above wearing the distressed version. I bought both at a local boutique during a promotion... well worth the splurge. They are stretchy and comfy... and now I hopefully don't have to go jeans shopping for a long time.

Dolce Vita Niro $159 (available hereherehere in more sizes)

These shoes seem to be selling out everywhere.. which makes me want them more!!

Hello, Spring!

via

Hello, Spring!

Remember me? Lindsay... long lost blogger. Back with a pink and green update...

Estée Lauder and Lilly Pulitzer have partnered for a free gift with purchase at Macy's. The promotion ends this weekend, don't miss out!

Choose a free 7-Pc. gift with any $35 Estée Lauder purchase through Macys.com. The free gift with purchase includes free makeup valued at $120 and a one-of-a-kind Lilly Pulitzer cosmetic bag available only through Macy’s until March 23.

I have tried a couple of new foundations over the past year, but am always returning to Double Wear Stay in Place (3C1 Dusk). I just loveee this foundation... it has great coverage and truly lasts a full day. My only complaint is the screw top bottle, but you can buy a foundation pump at MAC that will fit perfectly.

You can use the Foundation Finder to see what the best fit for your skin would be.

What are your favorite Estée products?
