Obviously so much has changed in my life since I started this blog in 2011. I can check off new job, engagement, wedding, pregnancy, baby and first home. Now I'm focused on updating and decorating our house (why is picking out paint colors so hard? or making any decor decision for that matter...) and juggling my career and family. When someone asks "how I do it all" my answer is I don't... and the days I do I don't sleep. I've put my blog on the back burner for some time but love that it's always here waiting for me and somehow there are still eyes on it. Recently I've been inspired to get it going again. So if you're here reading this now, THANK YOU!
On the fashion front ... most of my clothes in piles in my basement while our floors were refinished in stages over November-December. That said, I have been wearing several outfits on repeat. One of my most worn pieces over the last month is this
Dudley Stephens fleece turtleneck. It comes in 2 styles - the signature Cobble Hill version is longer but just not a fit for my body type (short/short torso) so I was excited when the Park Slope debuted. It's a local Connecticut brand, made in the USA and top quality. Looks great with jeans or dressed down with leggings after a workout (I'm wearing a size small - typically an XS/S, 2, 25 in most brands.) The black is already on my wish list for next year.
Happy Friday!
