Dress: J.McLaughlin. Wrap: BP Nordstrom. Necklace: Francesca's Collections.
Over the weekend Teddy and I headed up to New Bedford, Massachusetts (also known as "The Whaling City") for his college roommate's wedding. The ceremony was held at Seamen's Bethel, which is referenced in Herman Melville's classic Moby Dick.
We crossed the cobblestone street to the Whaling Museum for the cocktail hour and reception. It doesn't get anymore nautical than this!

The Sam Adams Octoberfest bottles fit right into the orange and navy color scheme. My pictures don't capture the thematic lighting that completely transformed the gallery. Other fall flavors included apple cider and a pumpkin ravioli appetizer that was delish. Not only did we dine below the suspended whale skeletons but danced, danced, danced!Congratulations Ali and Dan!
