I'm back...

Hello, hello! Remember me?

This past summer was truly like no other. I have so much to catch up on! I actually don't know where to begin... but will attempt to cover all the fun events over the next few weeks.

My best friend Sara got married in August. Her wedding was absolutely beautiful...that J. Crew striped gown! Just a preview of the preppy wedding coming your way. I also have to add that her updo was pure perfection.

My bachelorette party at Revel in Atlantic City was insanely fun. I am one lucky girl in the friend department and so grateful to have all of those ladies in my life.

I have to confess that I never finished the juice cleanse. I'm embarrassed about that since it was the first thing on my blog for weeks... what a sham. I eased myself into the cleanse by eating vegan for 3 days prior. I made it through most of day one but by the evening couldn't stand the taste of the drinks. I was holding my nose trying to get it down. I ended up eating watermelon instead and sleeping off my nausea. I would try a juice cleanse again if it tasted better... fail! Suggestions welcome. I continued a primarily vegan diet up to my wedding weekend. It wasn't as challenging as I initially thought it would be and I felt great eating clean. I am now trying to incorporate more vegan meals into my diet.

And the biggest update... I am now a MRS! Ted and I tied the knot on September 7th on the Vineyard at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown. We had another "wedding" earlier in the summer at The Black Dog Tavern in Vineyard Haven that you may have caught on television... let's just say it was a practice round.
