Palm Beach Dreaming

Ted and I will be visiting West Palm Beach for the first time in April. I don't want to wish away 1/4 of the year, but it can't come soon enough. While Ted is playing golf, you will find me lounging by the pool or strolling Worth Avenue. The flights and accommodations are booked. Now I'm planning our itinerary, tips welcome.

Synonymous with Palm Beach is Lilly Pulitzer. If you are a Lilly fan living on Earth, then you most likely saw the news yesterday that a Target collaboration is coming. See the sneak peak here and search #lillyfortarget on Instagram. After initial shock that my online attempts failed, my life went on without a 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target crossbody bag last September.  As the years go on I am trying to overcome the hype of these sales. That doesn't mean I won't be at the door when Target opens on April 19, bee-lining it straight to the home section. But if it doesn't work out for me as planned, I'll survive. Do you think this will be the most sought after collab yet?

  3. Make dinner ressies at Imoto sushi & Buccan early! Bfast or lunch at Surfside diner. Definitely go for drinks late night to Cucina dell'arte. If you want a quite night - dinner and a game of backgammon on the patio at Michael McCarthy's is fun.

  5. Whenever we go to Palm Beach we stay at The Breakers, if you’re not staying there make sure to go for dinner at least once! Flagler Steakhouse is to die for – try to get a table on the upper deck. The Seafood Bar is also fantastic (there is an aquarium bar where you can enjoy a drink while watching the fish swim under the bar top). Try to do a boat cruise if you can – they will show you some of the beautiful homes and it’s a fun day out – we used Majestic Princess Cruises, I believe and you can sit out on the back deck in the sun and enjoy cocktails as you cruise!

So excited and interested to check out the Lilly line at Target – it’s for sure going to go super fast! Xo

  9. You will have so much fun in Palm Beach! When we went this fall, aside from an afternoon on Worth Avenue, most of our time was spent in nearby Jupiter Beach! I am dying to check out The Breakers on our next visit!
