Can you believe it's almost 2019? I took a poll on Instagram and 90% voted they would be home to ring in the new year. We will be having dinner at a friends and then back home when the clock strikes 12... toasting with our new Waterford flutes!
This is the first Christmas we celebrated in our new home and using these flutes throughout the season is a new tradition. In our apartment, I had our crystal stored away and only used it for our anniversary. On that note, so many couples become engaged at this time of year and the flutes are the perfect gift. Ted and I registered for the Waterford Happy Celebration flutes for our wedding to add to the Lismore collection that my parents graciously handed down to us. (My friend suggested the Happy Celebrations because they look great in photos and make a statement!) I also love the updated Lismore style pictured above. We have also been using our new old fashioned glasses for cocktails by the fire. I updated my old fashioned with muddled pomegranate seeds and a splash of sparking juice. The orange, rosemary and seeds make a pretty garnish.
Ted and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary this year. We were gifted another set of our flutes this year... love them and the memories of this special night.
