Something Borrowed, Something Kentucky Blue. Have you ever been to a wedding during a major sports event? (Lauren, I know you have!) I would never plan it this way but think it would be fun to go if the majority of the guests were passionate about the teams playing and there was a big screen. I would just hope for the bride and groom that the game started after the ceremony.

I will root for UK as long as they aren't playing UConn (or Lehigh, haha). My dad is a UK alum. In honor of the Wildcat win last night, here are a few of my favorite cobalt picks. Congrats to my Kentucky gals!
Just read that article, love it! I have been to my share of weddings during football games...For my cousin's wedding that I was, I went to the game, stayed til halftime, through my dress on in the church bathroom and somehow made it inside before it started, ha. I get mad, mad when people get married during the season, no need, haha ;-)
ReplyDeleteIm with you- I'd have to plan the wedding around the big event. BUT it would be fun to have all your friends in one place to celebrate and watch the game!
ReplyDeletethat sounds like a fun wedding idea. could result in some fun outfits!
ReplyDeleteI love the Bauble Bar necklace!

I have a very similar shoe in leather. I was a great game last night. Kentucky blue look quite loyal, too.

Clutch, please!! :) Kelli
ReplyDeleteThis is so great! In my friend's defense she had no idea this HUGE of a game would be happening on her big day a year in advance when planning. But, despite my bad day, I think hers was perfect! And you missy seem to be a UK fan at heart! :)
ReplyDeleteI would be so stressed out planning a wedding around another event! Gah, what if your team lost and everyone was grumpy after (I agree, if you did it, you'd HAVE to hope the game was after the wedding).
ReplyDeleteI love that blue dress, though! The rosettes on the top are gorgeous.
Happy Wednesday!
