via Better Homes and Gardens
The latest news... I'm moving in a month! I am really excited to start fresh with a new space and hopefully display all of the random things I have been hoarding from Home Goods (elephants, elephants, elephants). This home was featured in Better Homes and Gardens in 2011 and I fell in love with the style. No surprise it was both designed and inhabited by a professional, Amy Meier.

This ikat fabric, Kalah Blue, is from Calico Corners. Obsessed.

I just want everythinggggg. You can see more of Amy Meier's work on her blog and Facebook page. Incredibly inspiring!

On a sidenote, you can imagine my excitement when I read that she was married on the Vineyard. Her wedding ceremony in Edgartown and reception in West Tisbury were absolutely gorgeous. See the slideshow on Martha Stewart Weddings.

Do you have any favorite design blogs with New England flair? Let me know!

  1. I remember that article and saved it because I love all her storage and decorating ideas. Those little flower girls are so adorable, what cute little dresses. She has such good taste.

  2. I too remember that article!! How exciting for you with a move , gotta love a fresh start!

  3. I love that fabric, and I bet it would be so easy to find similar curtains that are already made.

  4. That is a beautiful home! Best of luck with your move! xx

  5. best of luck with your move! xo

  6. Good luck with your move! What a beautiful wedding pic...the little girls are precious.

  7. I love that fabric! :) and that last picture is adorable!!

  8. oo, i would love that fabric as window treatments in a large, open white room, with some ochre or canary accents.

  9. I feel the same way because I am moving into a new apartment I bought all new decorations, bedding, etc and I am DYING to pull it out and redecorate! Can't wait :)
