Last weekend I saw this One Line A Day: A Five Year Memory Book at the stationery store where I picked out my wedding invitations. There is also a Mom's One Line A Day version - cute shower gift!

Would you be up for the challenge? I think this would be great to look back on especially if you begin at a milestone (college, first job, marriage, first home).
On a similar note, one of my friends keeps a Google doc where she writes down events/thoughts each day. I thought this digital diary was a great idea and kept it up for a couple months earlier this year. Each morning before I settled into my work I took 5 minutes while drinking my coffee to reflect on what I did the day before and most importantly noted how I was feeling. Combined with my agenda that is filled with appointments and to-do's it helped me feel more organized, make better use of my time and focus on what makes me happy. Starting this again today!
Love this! Really, might have to get this!

What a great idea! Having to write just a quick sentence makes this doable. Might have to get one:)
ReplyDeleteI wish I was better about recording more about my daily life and my work days as a nanny. I do send emails to the parents but I wish I remembered to write down funny quotes
