Spice List (via Instagram - Follow me msslindsay)
I don't mind searching through my cabinet to find a spice, granted I don't have many. My problem is knowing what's actually on the shelves. Since I have been attempting to cook lately, I realize all of the ingredients I don't have on hand when looking through recipes. This list inside my cabinet door makes it a little easier when preparing. I saved the file on my computer and will update as needed.

So, what's cooking?
Maybe it's considered "cheating" but I buy the shrimp prepared at Costco to save time. (Not to mention I will pay a little extra to have them deveined. Gross!)
I'm not sure how "skinny" this is if you eat more than one serving.... the same thought that goes through my mind when I drink a bottle of Skinny Girl Margarita myself. Whatever, it's delicious!
See a theme going on here? Casserole. Cheese. Check! Recipes that meet this criteria are more than welcome in the comments section below...
Baked ziti is a personal favorite-- pasta, tomato sauce, and lots of mozz cheese. Yum!
ReplyDeleteThese both look great. I've been wanting to try an enchilada casserole - maybe this one? http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/enchilada-casserole
ReplyDeleteI'm also a huge fan of Skinnytaste's zucchini boats. Yum!
that tuna noodle casserole looks incredible
ReplyDeleteComplete deliciousness.
ReplyDeleteI have a similar list in my cabinet. Makes it easier when making a grocery list with a new recipe.
ReplyDeleteI need to do that.... I end up with like 5 chili powders, 3 cumins, 4 soy sauces, and so on... great idea!
