Honeymoon Part 1 - JFK to LAX

Ted and I stayed in Los Angeles for a night to break up our trip to Bora Bora. We were on one of the first flights out to LA and arrived right at lunch time. Bye bye wedding diet, hello In-N-Out Burger.

Twinsies. I have been to LA for work before but the trips have been quick, leaving no time for anything touristy. After checking into the Hollywood Roosevelt, we headed out for a stroll on Hollywood Boulevard. I was on a mission for two things...

Coffee Bean and Britney's star! I have to be honest.. it was Ted's initial idea to look for my favorite celeb's star. He knows me so well, haha. ("Work Bitch" was released a week later.) I'm not sure which is worse... Times Square or Hollywood Boulevard. We had enough of it quickly and headed back to the hotel where we spent the rest of the day relaxing by the pool.

Shortly after finding chairs by the pool, I realized I forgot some of my magazines back in the room. As I was walking through the lobby I had my first celebrity sighting of the trip... Sugar Bear and June! Typically I wouldn't approach anyone famous by myself but it was too funny to pass up. "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" is one of my guilty pleasures... I wish Alana was with them! I told them I was a fan of the show and they kindly posed for a pic. We also spotted Scott Caan from Hawaii Five-O at the hotel.

That night we went to Katsuya for a sushi dinner, which was delicious.

Next up is The Ivy... stay tuned!
