A Day At the Circus

I'm looking forward to seeing Water For Elephants starring Reese Witherspoon this weekend with one of my gal pals from high school. It has become a ritual to have a movie night whenever we are both in town for a holiday. (I also have yet to see Robert Pattinson in a role other than Edward Cullen. Yes, I'm a Twihard... and would like to note that I read the books first.)

I just read Reese's latest interview for Vogue, A Day at the Circus, that features beautiful photographs by Peter Lindbergh. Must read! I love the quirky things she says. "I have a squirrelly energy . . . Like, you don’t know where your next nut is gonna come from?”

Speaking of the high-fashion bible... for a laugh you must check out Rumors I've Heard About Anna Wintour if you haven't seen it already. Hilarious!

Have you read Water for Elephants? Excited for the movie? Am I going to regret not reading it first?!

  2. I am hoping the movie is better. I thought the book was a little slow. Good, but slow.

  8. I read the book...AND LOVED IT!!! The movie looks good but I'm pretty big about a movie following a book (for the most part) and I'm not sure if this is or isn't. So if it doesn't...its kind of a good thing to see the movie first:) But I do recommend reading the book. I loved it

  12. Haven't read the book - I know I should read it before seeing the movie, but with school I don't have much time for pleasure reading and I am just itching to see the movie!

  13. Just be warned that there might be some tough to watch animal scenes. There are a few tear jerker scenes in the book and I'm pretty sure they'll include them in the movie too. I have such a hard time watching animal cruelty-even if I know it isn't real!
