Ted was very proud of his new shirt from The Gap that he picked out. Well it was a popular choice...two other guys were wearing the same one at the bar on Saturday night. We all had to laugh. I still love it!

Preventative measures. I have never used an eye cream before but all of my magazines tell me that I should so I finally listened. I tried a sample of this from Sephora and I am hooked! I purchased the larger size and am saving the travel size for my upcoming trips. I love how it feels. I choose to avoid products for my face with mineral oil (interesting to research) and this was one of the few reasonably priced creams from Sephora that didn't have it.

I try to pack my lunch and stay away from Manhattan's salad traps. It's fun to create your own salad but I'm always amazed at how fast it all adds up. I always see people entering my building with bags from Chop't so I thought I would give it a try. I was overwhelmed by the long line and choices so opted for a chef designed classic rather than building my own. Everything was fresh and it was delicious. The best part, they had a Boylan fountain soda machine. I had no idea such a wonderful thing existed. Diet Black Cherry - love it! There are also Chop't locations in Washington D.C.
Finally, I am LOVING that I have a three-day weekend ahead! I'm going "down the shore" to Atlantic City on Friday for my friend Amy's bachelorette party. Can't wait!
I am going to have to try that eye cream! I have been looking for a new one. My eyes get soo dry...
ReplyDeleteWe have those exact salad bowls at school and can create our own salad. I get romaine with feta, almonds, crasins, chick peas, banana chips, strawberries, apple, and grapes. thank goodness its on my meal plan and not real money!

ReplyDeletehmmm I should try that eye cream. I use arbonne products but I am always open to trying other stuff. I just don't like anything with strange smells to it and I don't like anything with the mineral oil either. Ewwww just grosses me out thinking of it.
