Hoboken St. Patty's Day
I'm not Irish... except in March. Tomorrow I will be on the metro bright and early headed to Hoboken, New Jersey for the city's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. If you aren't from the area you're probably thinking Hoboken is a funny sounding name... or maybe you know of it from watching Cakeboss on TLC. Buddy Valestro, the star of the show and owner of Carlo's City Hall Bakery, has been named "honorary Grand Marshal" of the parade.
Yes, it's an early celebration. It creeps up on me every year and I scramble to find some shamrock accessories. Last year my friend Amanda found those scarves for us. While searching for ideas I got a little sidetracked...

Friday's Fancies

I had my picture taken with the Hoboken SWAT team a few years ago. =) For some reason they were down here in Virginia Beach.

Have fun! My girlfriends and I are going to Chicago to see the parade and apparently they dye the river green! We got t-shirts from some irish store in chicago, but I anticipate it is going to be so cold no one will see it anyways. Maybe ill hide those cookies in my purse for a snack during the parade! Have fun!
