Mar-tee-ni Time

Continuing where I left off yesterday... After visiting the Lehigh campus and enjoying a HUGE lunch, my friends and I did some shopping and then crashed on the couch for a few hours. It took awhile to build up our hunger again, but by 8 we were ready to go. We headed to our favorite martini bar in Bethlehem.


We made reservation at Loopers Grille and Bar, a golf  clubhouse inspired restaurant and bar that boasts a very extensive "mar-tee-ni" list of 400+.


Sara and I both had the "Pomage" martini and Corinne the "Lycherium Delerium." We started off with the loaded cheese fries. I'm not big on french fries, but add some cheese and I'm in.


Sara had the most interesting looking entrée - "The NCC" - balsamic glaze drizzled over mozzarella, tomatoes, roasted peppers and onions.


After dinner we moved from the dining area to the bar to watch some March Madness. Perfect timing, my Huskies were on and we cheered them to victory against Cincinnati. Sara stuck to the pomegranate martini, while Corinne and I ventured and tried a few others including the "Chocolatini." The rumor is you're cut off after 3, but we called a cab before finding out.     How fun -- spending time with girl friends is the best!! I'm not a fan of martini's, but those look damn good to me!

    I love a green apple-tini or a pom-tini, but I can only have 1 or 2 at at time! They are strong!
